If this video won't send shivers down your spine, I think you are doomed ;)
It shows the amazing beauty of this planet, her amazing inhabitants, human and non-human, nature, and ultimately what we do to all this. And gives credit to those activists that were ready to die in order to defend Earth, nature and animals.
I am not sure if we really destroy Mother Earth, I think she will survive us. She just has to get rid of the parasites and will heal. The question is, do we want to survive? If so, it is time to take action and start change. With ourselves and our surrounding.
Serj Tankian says it very well: "We've fallen asleep as people as animals on this planet. We are here to nurture our planet. We are here to help guard this f*** place, not destroy it for gods' sakes! I am sick and tired of unequal globalism. I am sick and tired of fascism. I am sick and tired of this type of people."
This amazing and beautiful video below is a non-commercial attempt to highlight the fact that world leaders, irresponsible corporates and mindless 'consumers' are combining to destroy life on earth. It is dedicated to all who died fighting for the planet and those whose lives are on the line today. The cut was put together by Vivek Chauhan, a young film maker, together with naturalists working with the Sanctuary Asia network (www.sanctuaryasia.com).
I actually very much like what Mr. Smith says in The Matrix, only I hope they really aren't the cure, but that we are smarter than that.

"I'd like to share a revelation that I've had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species and I realized that you're not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment but you humans do not. You move to an area and you multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet. You're a plague and we are the cure."
